30 Days of Grimm - Day 7 - Favorite Juliette Moment Sorry I keep missing these. I’ll try to keep up from now on! My favorite Juliette moment was hard to pick, because I actually think she’s a better character than people give credit for. Yes, I think she could be improved, but it’s only been one season, and the show’s main characters (Nick and Monroe) are males, so she will always be a supporting character. However, I do think Juliette has had some great moments. I like that she was proactive and learned to shoot a gun. I like that she helped rescue Robin in “The Thing with Feathers” and then helped Nick by holding the gun on one of the bad guys. I like that she punched Ariel in the face. I like that she did some investigating on the hair she found in “Big Feet”. I like that she said “No” to Nick’s proposal, even though it kills me how much she broke his poor little puppy-dog heart, because she followed what she thought was right for her, regardless of how much she still loves him and how hard it is to say “No” to a proposal (it’s really uncomfortable, especially when the guy thinks you’re going to say “Yes”). Overall, I really like Juliette and think she has tremendous potential if she survives. My favorite scene though, is in “Game Ogre” when Juliette helps protect Nick and herself from the Siegbarste, even though Nick is telling her to get out of the house. Instead of fleeing, she throws the pot of boiling water on the Siegbarste, weakening him long enough for Nick to recover, get his gun, and shoot him, making the Siegbarste flee. Pretty badass, in my opinion!

I don’t think I was getting defensive- I was telling her all the reasons behind my choice. I didn’t think anyone would truly care that much. Especially since I’ve done so much Juliette defending. I do think character-wise Rosalee is a better character. She’s more aggressive (said why already) she’s a Wesen (and a hot fox wesen too that makes sexy purring sounds) she can make crazy fucking potions and she has this dysfunctional background where she was an addict. That gets me a lot- the recovering addict thing. 

And yes. IMO she’s hotter.

So why say something like "Rosalee has more of a mind of her own as a character"? That's blatantly untrue. One of the things I love about Juliette is how she very obviously has a life that doesn't hinge on her hanging off Nick's arm; she has a busy professional career of her own and takes a lot of initiative in their rltshp. Sorry, but I rly hate how so many ppl think Rosalee is so much better for no real reason except that she's being pushed by the writers more.

I didn’t say she was better. I gave several reasons why, if pushed, I would choose Rosalee. One is just that I find her hotter. Sorry, but I do. I also think she is a little more aggressive than Juliette- when Juliette helps Nick by throwing the water on the Siegbarste, her life is also in jeopardy. When Rosalee comes from behind and hits the Skalengeck on the head, saving Monroe, she was completely safe- she didn’t have to interevene. To me, that is more badass. I don’t think Juliette is NOT badass. I just think Rosalee is moreso. However, that was only a part of my argument. I also think Bree Turner is a more nuanced actress. And hotter. However, if you knew how many times I have defended Juliette, you would understand that you are arguing with the wrong person. I personally want Juliette to end up with Nick, because I think they are meant to be together and I think Nick is so invested in her, so in love, they will at some point. Unless they kill her off. Which I’ve said many times, I don’t want them to do. I love ALL the characters on Grimm. I don’t want them to kill ANY of them off. But the Confession was saying they’d rather have Juliette than Rosalee. If pushed, I disagree.

I am so sick of ppl somehow deciding to disregard everythng Juliette does just bc the writers are shoving Rosalee down everyone's throats. Juliette is one of the best female characters I have ever seen, & I don't get why 98% of the fandom would apparently rather hate her than embrace how great she is.

I don’t hate Juliette. I’m actually one of the character’s biggest apologists. And yes, I’ve seen every episode over 5 times. So I don’t understand your question.
